Message stock fan. I need to look at it closer to figure it out. Great info for us and our "hot" zxs.....

: I've gotten a few email s from people about the Howe Racing Radiator. I will take pictures a long with the stock radiator and post them. The radiator is much thicker than the stock. Not sure if you can use the stock fan. I am using an an electric. The picture on the website is the Chevy style inlets/outlets. You have to order the FORD style which is the same as Nissan. Ford/Chrysler have their inlet/outlets like the Nissan.

: Regarding the Nismo. The Nismo is a big ripoff because it is not bigger in capacity or core to the stock. It just has more cooling fins. The Howe Radiator is twice the capacity of the stock. It has 2 one inch cores vs. the stock 1 one inch core. Hence it is one inch thicker.

: For the price of the Howe, it is a no brainer and better cooling than the NISMO. The Nismo is a direct replacement of course but offers very little performance advantage compared to the Howe. Also the Howe has aluminum welded end-tanks. The NISMO is plastic like the stock.

: I ordered the Ford style 19 x24 x 3 Howe Racing Radiator. Howe is better than Griffen because the end tanks are welded on . The Griffen radiator is epoxy on(Glued).

: It fits perfect into the Z . This is a universal fit with 2 one inch core which is twice the capacity of the stock ( 1 one inch core).
: You just have to fab your own brackets very easy to do. Best part about this is the radiator is less about $190 .
: Note..
: The lower outlet is longer than the stock . You have to cut about one inch off it ..no biggie.

: Mike
